Fast forward, oh, about 16 years, and here we are. That same girl has a 16 year old brother. Pahaha.
Hi there, I'm Dustin. As you've probably already gathered, I'm the 16 year old brother that was mentioned two sentences ago. It's a pleasure to meet you.
There was no real purpose in the introduction to this page, other than the fact that I was just being random.
I was born in late January 1995, in northern Alabama, just like my sister (but this bio isn't about her. Sheesh. Why can't I stop talking about my sister!?!?!) I guess I was a normal kid, aside from the fact that since birth, I've never been that athletic._.
Even since before I went to primary school, I've been....well, random. I've always been a loud, outgoing person, to the best of my knowledge. My mom has a home video of me on my first day of Kindergarten, and I swear, once I figure out how to upload VHS tapes to YouTube, I'll let the world see it. It's by far the funniest video I've ever seen. In. My. Life.
As I got older, I really didn't express myself, because I was afraid of what people might think of me. Well, no. I don't guess that's true. I've always expressed my personality, but all through elementary school, I dressed like everyone else, wore my hair like everyone else, and stuff like that. I guess that's okay though, because weren't we all like that when we were children?
But, once I got to 8th or 9th grade, I started...showing my true colors. I bought a few pairs of skinny jeans, stole my sister's old hair straightener, and it's all just kinda went from there, y'know?
Now I'm not afraid to be who I want to be, and the things people say truly don't keep me up at night. I'm just...me.
I wanna be a hipster so bad, I can't stand it. :3 Haha
Nowadays, I like wearing lensless glasses, tons of bracelets, and fluorescent shirts and whatnot. I do off-the-wall things like troll the local coffee shop, raid the toy aisle at Wal*Mart, and gallop through the school parking lot waging wars with people that park next to me (all on foot, not you know, in cars)
Music-wise, I like dubstep and indie the best. And then there's the all time favorites, like 30 Seconds to Mars, Paramore, Pierce the Veil, and A Day To Remember. Recently, I've been listening to Skrillex, The Klaxons, Sleigh Bells, Two Door Cinema Club, and stuff like that.
But anyways, enough about me. Let's talk about this blog.
I had this blog back in...9th grade? Yeah, 9th grade. And, as you can see if you look through my archives, I blogged about some stupid crap back in the day. But now, I try to actually center my posts around things, not just a montage of what I've done since the air conditioner shut off. (I wonder how many of you are going to search my archive to see if there's any posts about air conditioners?) Sure, I may still post about random topics, but I try my best to stay focused once I pick a topic.
